 Facing Suspension?
I was suspended from ebay in 2006 for some vero issues.
I was able to get 3 accounts reinstated in 2008 after a lot of calling in to ebay and appealing my suspension.
However, the offending account stayed suspended.
The 3 reinstated accounts were, if I remember correctly, limited in the $ amount I could sell (computers).
One account then dropped below standard and I tried to increase the limits by linking it to a long standing ebay account (this was a new feature I never saw before), so I tried it and it actually lowered my $ amount to sell while increasing my quantity from 15 to 30.
I called in about it and the person (i think he was in the safety and trust dept) told me that ebay allows you to only have 8 accounts and I was linked to 11, 3 of which are suspended and that my accounts would probably all be suspended eventually.
I asked him what I should do to circumvent this and he told me to shut them all down (close them) except for one--the only one that I am top rated on.
He told me that I should be ok since the one is top rated.
I closed one account already. Then I called in later to find out why I wouldn't close a second one and got some lady (in the same department) who told me to get the one account out of the red (below standard) but then later read me the riot act and that I couldn't sell anymore on ebay because I was linked to a suspended account.
Yeah I told her that I was reinstated from that suspension but she told me that I was creating new accounts to circumvent the limits and that I couldn't do this.
Can you please recommend a course of action on what I should do at this point? Should I close all the accounts except for the one?
