How different does an address have to be in order for it to be a different address?
 

Having multiple accounts obviously requires having multiple addresses.

For security reasons, I don't like using using physical (geographical) addresses for shipping or returns. Asking every single one of my friends to use their address seems a little to dodgy for me. Hence why I use PO Boxes.

The only problem is that with post office boxes costing in excess of $120 per year, the cost of having multiple PO Boxes can quickly add up.

I used to have an PO Box within a suburb called TORRENSVILLE but the actual post office was in a shopping center complex called TORRENSVILLE PLAZA.

What I did was used the address for two separate stealth accounts, but for one stealth account I listed the address as TORRENSVILLE and for the other account I listed the address as TORRENSVILLE PLAZA. This seemed to work well as I received both lots of mail from each account and the two stealth accounts didn't seem to link.

Do you think I might be on to something here?

My question is how different does an address have to be in order to qualify as a different address? Will unique variations of the same address be classified as different addresses in eBay's eyes?

Answered the question with your first statement. Having multiple stealth accounts requires multiple addresses. Multiple PO boxes can be affordable. Just make sure each account attached to a PO box makes enough profit to cover the box.

Yes as commented by senior members beware of the domino effect. You have to be creative in this thing.

Same question I have, but it's this - I live in a house, but what if I call every single room in my house a flat?

Than my "addresses" would like this:

Flat 23
4248 blahblah road
blahblah postcode
simply blahblah

Flat 57
4248 blahblah road
blahblah postcode
simply blahblah

I mean, there are multi floor buildings, with over 100 of flats in them, and at least few of them must have amazon/ebay accs in the same building.

Of course, I can imagine, you would have to get creative with the time, pattern and manner of accessing each acc, applying full stealth and some more.
