For what reason may Ebay ever ask to see this merchant agreement in the furure ?

I am going to buy a pre 2007 ebay account so that I can get my merchant account connected without ebay approval. For what reason may Ebay ever ask to see this merchant agreement in the furure ? Has this happened? To be on the safe side should I set the merchants account up in a friends name?
