what to do when ebay calls about merchant account
 

Hey Guys,

When ebay calls to verify the merchant account, what will they ask? I have a few questions for anyone that has a merchant account and would be kind enough to PM me because I just faxed them the papers about 2 hours ago.

Hi, I have in the past three weeks tried to set up two different account for merchant payments, the first one I faxed and within 24 hours I got an e-mail saying it was accepted and works fine. The second I faxed and got an e-mail saying I needed to send in a statement ( bill ) or if I did not have one I needed to contact the merchant and get their phone number, extension and information so they could call them direct and set it up that way after verifying the account. Neither time did I get a phone call from them but what I sent in the fax was the merchant information I got in the mail after signing up. Both times they were the same except of course the name and information so I do not know why one was approved and not the other. Seems they were both only through E-mail though and no phone call.

i just plan to use merchant on ebay... haiz... headache

hey guys thanks for the info- now my only concern is that the account is only over a week old...oh well, now just wait and see

So I still haven't gotten a call about the merchant account nor an email...should I be worried? Faxed in stuff on 22nd

You wrote in another thread that you got approved and they didn't even call you. How long did it take for you to receive your approval?

Less than 48 hours- I just hadn't checked that email account and was under the impression that they were going to call but they didn't. They had emailed me directly saying that I can take merchant payments
