Pre 2007 accts for Merchant accts???
 
First of all, whats the whole hype about pre 2007 accts? Obviously you don't need to fax ebay papers but is it really that hard? I just got my 2 week old ebay account withOUT a verified paypal account approved to use my merchant account last week...I don't know if I just got lucky or it was the merchant statement I faxed them

But besides that, are there any other advantages to having a pre oct 2007 account?

Some people say that the accounts can take more hits than newer ones. Some people can't get merchant accounts approved by ebay so that is the main reason for getting a pre nov 07 account.

I actually don't have a website...so that leaves essentially one option

And yes, I guess the amount of activity helped me along :thumb:
