how do you use ONE merchant acct for all your ebay accts?
 

1. Can you use a merchant account from the get-go without paypal or does ebay require you use paypal for a specified period of time?

2. How do you use one merchant account for multiple ebay accounts? I understand that you have to send them a merchant statement-obviously since you only have one it's going to have the same (real) name/contact info on it. Do you photoshop or how do you do that?

1) I do not believe there is a time requirement..according to the ebay stealth book what some do is put up a non-existant gmail account as their paypal email, so it "looks" like your accepting it (you can accept paypal via ccnow and 2checkout merchant services without actually having a paypal yourself)
2) I believe you create different authorize.net or cartmanager.net accounts...then they link to the same merchant account..might need further verification on that one..

Ahhh, that makes sense, thank you, though I was hoping to avoid paying for another thing (authorize/cart manager)....anyone else can verify this?
