| mollymill | 12-17-2009 03:23 PM | I'm in Australia and use paymate on my website - I usually receive the funds in my bank account the next day, so am pretty happy with them.
Paymate is based in Australia/NZ so I guess it isn't the best option for cc processing in the US |

| goldmedalwholesale | 03-06-2010 04:21 AM | please share how come they cancelled your sales? I was going to use paymate for vero items is that ok? |
| cardfelon | 03-06-2010 10:47 AM | I have been using Paymate now for about a month. I haven't had any problems. But when someone pays for a item you have to wait up to 3 business days for Paymate to process it. When you log into your Paymate account it will show "processing" on the transaction. I have been waiting until it shows "paid" which means the money is sent to my bank account before I ship. I have been selling VERO items and had no problems. Some of these are in $400+ range |
| incniu | 03-06-2010 12:21 PM | Paymate is good.
Do you know how to refund on Paymate? Quote:

| jbluntz | 03-06-2010 03:57 PM | I don't think it's a good idea to sell vero if you used your real info with paymate, the company of the product you're selling can get your info from paymate just like with paypal. |
| cardfelon | 03-06-2010 09:13 PM | You have a good point. If I get a listing removed due to VERO then I just stop selling that product and use another account. I also don't sell the same item over and over. I mix my stuff up quite a bit |
| incniu | 03-07-2010 09:00 AM | Paymate is so SLOW.. they are processing my first payment for 4 days. |
| cardfelon | 03-07-2010 09:50 AM | Paymate is a little slow. They say to allow up to 3 business days. |
| jbluntz | 07-25-2010 11:05 PM | Anybody know how to use a label printer with paymate? |
| MadSam | 07-26-2010 12:25 PM | Is it hard to get accepted? |

I would definitely make sure that you've got 10+ SELLER feedback and at least 98% positive before you open the account with them. If you meet their minimum requirements that's pretty much all you need. Only thing I could come up with as to why they would not accept a new account is if you use a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ SSN or they check your credit and find some skeletons. I don't think they go around checking every new seller's credit though. I'm positive they didn't check mine. |
| holyhell | 09-15-2010 11:12 PM | I applied for the merchant account, isn't that the way to go? What's the difference between the merchant and standard account?
I am also worried about a credit check. I will surely be denied if this is the case. |
| OfficialGenius | 09-16-2010 12:33 AM | Good question holyhell.
What about shipping out? Do you guys ship out before payment clears or do you wait the 5-10 days and then ship? |
| jbluntz | 09-16-2010 12:53 AM | I wouldn't ship out first, paymate's too unpredictable, so far it's been almost 2 weeks and all my payments are still pending. |
| FandangoKango | 09-16-2010 01:28 AM | Im in the same boat. Still my payments are processing. Might go to live in australia lol. |
| holyhell | 09-16-2010 09:53 AM | Yeah this is all getting confusing. When listing on Ebay, it says you have to get a merchant account to ship to certain countries.
Just wondering if the Paymate standard account is considered a merchant account by Ebay. Does this make any sense gang? |
| FandangoKango | 09-16-2010 01:33 PM | Paymate is an authorized ebay merchant processor. Go to to the help menu on ebay and search "payment method". You will see what it says about paymate. |

Don't you receive negative or neutral feedback by the time they receive their product? |
| jbluntz | 09-16-2010 06:30 PM | I'm sure I will eventually that's why I'm done with paymate. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 07:42 AM. | |
