Help with Using Cartmanager on eBay

I have my google checkout and my paypal all hooked up to my cartmanager acct (at least i hope) So if i sell something on ebay and Send the buyer the invoice will it be better to have them pay with google checkout?

or paypal? and if i have them pay with paypal will paypal hold the payment?

How exactly do i have them send the payment through google checkout?

bump.........

schwuller 07-20-2010 04:50 PM

a few questions first. did you already fax your merchant docs to ebay for approval? i hope you did not fax them googlecheckout docs.

Christopher 07-21-2010 12:17 AM

no sir! havent faxed them anything. only thing i want to do is use cartmanger for my auctions and then get instant payments through paypal. Do i have to fax anything? i didnt think id have to

rsot 07-21-2010 09:14 AM

To use cartmanager or other payment processors (merchant) you will be asked to fax in business identification UNLESS your account is an old one....look up the topics of Pre 2007 ebay accounts on this elegant forum =)

so i have to fax them what? just to have them auto invoice to paypal? i have to fax docs? i just want it have it hooked like

cartmanager > paypal > bank acct

i cant do it like that?

hi christopher. sorry if i am asking you a billion questions before trying to get you a helpful answer, but i want to really understand what you are actually trying to do here. besides, if you use paypal, then you are already used to answering a billion questions lol. alright, is your ultimate goal here 1. to separate your paypal and ebay by putting cartmanager in between them? (<--good idea!) or is your goal 2. to have your ebay customers checkout using cartmanager + google checkout and paypal isnt even an option to them? or 3. to have the customer have the option to use either google checkout OR paypal (but with both insulated by cartmanager)? option 1 requires a bit of trickery but is easy. option 2 requires faxing of merchant account docs to eGay (NOT google checkout docs!) and approval. option 3. same as option one lol wink wink. if you think about it for a moment, i am pretty sure i just answered your question.

NO PROB! option number 1.. I just want to be able to list my auctions and have them pay me by paypal with cartmanager in between.

Gamefreak 07-23-2010 02:14 AM

not sure if its jsut me but I use cartmanager and I have an account from 05... Now my problem is that my buyers have to check their emails to find a pay now button which is a drag and causes buyers to ask me to cancel their purchase(s).

So am I doing something wrong or do I also need to fax in the doc to ebay for approval ?

Sorry to op dont wanna take out your thread... but look at pix below.. .I can accept credit cards but complete integration with ebay isnt working out too well.

Doesnt ask me to fax anything I just dont want buyers to have to check their emails to pay.. you buy an item and pay for it right there on ebay site. like how other ppl have it...

If I understand the Question correctly, If BOTH Are linked to Cartmanager, you should not link your Payal, this way Google Checkout is your buyers ONLY Option, I am Not sure if that is a Good idea, People Love Paypal for whatever Reason

You need to link your cartmanager with eBay by going in cartmanager and following the steps outlined on the sidebar. To ensure buyers use googlecheckout, disable paypal in cartmanager and only enable googlecheckout. Cartmanager will email buyers a payment link after the auction end. You can compose a default template email in cartmanager. There are also ways of addina html link in the auctions to direct buyers to your checkout as well.
