how long does it takes to get a merchant account
 

I was suspended by ebay and after reading this forum, I came to know to know that I should be using a merchant account, does any one knows how long it takes to get a merchant account on CCNOW or auction checkout. Also I am planning to sell by different name on ebay, do merchant account share information with ebay. Please clarify and thank you all for your help

merchant account does not share info with Ebay.. It takes about 3-4 days to get set up with most merchant accounts.

Do not forget to 'create' a completely new you. Before you make a new account
with ebay, read what steps you must take with your computer. If you do not
do that ebay can ID you.

thank you folks for your help, yeah I made one completely new myself but the thing is I am kind of scared because this new person is not me, also I am confused about which merchant to use, is CC now better or Auction check out better, thanks again for your help

ccnow isnt really a merchant account,its a merchant account alternative... Yes u have to use real info. Thats is all that is required besides faxing in bank check and driver license

Usually, a new merchant account setup can be happen in 2-3 business days, after receiving all of the requested documentation. Dharma is happy to “Rush” the process for any application, meaning that under the right circumstances, a new account setup can happen within one day
