Waiting For Wally To Call
 

what is the longest someone has had to wait for the phone call from ebay after you fax your merchant statement? it has been over 24 hours, and i'm getting worried.

Waited 48 hours. I feel that the reason was sending on Monday. Too many others trying as well.

haha, it would be funny if you go "hello wally" as soon as you answer the phone. he will probably suspend you right there.

that would blow his mind, then i would get NARUd. still hasn't called. i'm starting to get worried. it's been 48 hours.

I wonder if he recognizes people's voices and there's a good way to disguise your voice on the phone?

Yeah. There is a lot of Voice Changer software available. Years ago there was
a cheap Dearth Vader one.

it's now been 5 days and still no phone call. i am absolutely furious. i spent a couple of bucks to fax the damn statement in, and it's just a waste of time trying to communicate with ebay in any form. no phone customer service, an email takes 3 days and in no way will ever answer the question you had, the live help is never on, and now no response to my fax!!

i don't know what to do. i guess i can send another fax, and waste my time and money.

any one have any suggestions?

I would give it 7 days and then call..in my experience everything takes 7 days with eb/pp..make sure to ask for Wally..just kidding..

i would have to assume you are kidding about the calling too. as far as i know there is no number to call.

Google wally anderson of ebay...... you will get a surprise.

Actually I wasn't about the phone call..I was assuming you could call ebay and ask for that department, or just say you haven't heard back about the merchant account you faxed..but Wally calls from 604-297-8999..be ready to answer a million questions..

it's mindboggling. they never called. over a week now. as sellers we are rated on our communication with our buyers, and get suspended if it affects our rating enough. i wish ebay would lead by example. they really don't care about answering any kind if inquiry. that would be too logical though. guess i'm asking too much.

I really hope they are not going to start "not verifying" people...

i just tried to call the wally number using my tracfone, but i could not dial the canada number. i wonder if i also cannot accept long distance calls on that service. i will try calling later from my wife's cell phone.
