High Risk Category, Google Checkout, and Merchant Account
 

I posted this in another thread, but thought it fit better here. So, I am going to give this a shot. Please be patient with the NEWBIE.....

1. I sell consumer electronics which as of February 2008, are now a high risk category. I simply will not accept PAYPAL due to them already withholding hundreds of dollars of my money. However, EBay is requiring a "safe" payment method for their new high risk categories.

I wanted to use "Google checkout," but EBay does not consider this a "safe" payment method. Am I stuck with opening a merchant account?

2.. With a merchant account, will EBay ever see my personal information that I use on the merchant account? (i.e. address, name, etc.) In other words, on a return shipping label and invoice, I would like to use a legit address...

I accept returns in order to keep a solid feedback rating. Due to this, I need some kind of address for buyers to send back an item.

Its possible to use google checkout and e-bay.. for " can E-bay see your personal detals?" you'll have to check it out

This has been answered three different times in the same thread. Why did you need to revive it?

ohh yes its revived but i thought my opinion and want to suggest this user for the checkout account for Google and E BAY
