How come I can accept CC without verification? on an OLD Ebay account - in the UK
 

Okay, so I'm using an account that has been up and running since 05.

Just to see what options it gave me, I selected the "credit card" as a payment option, as well as postal order, went to list the item, and it just listed straight away. Didn't say anything about faxing something in to accept CC.

Went onto my listing to make sure, and at the bottom, it says that I accept CC. How come I didn't need to go through any kind of verification? Will they still call me?

Ah okay, so maybe it does not apply to this account then. Sorry, I should have made the title clearer in the first place.

It's because your account is grandfathered in. New rules only apply to new accounts.
