Whats the best alternative to PayPal for UK ebayers?
 

Whats the best alternative to PayPal for UK ebayers?, especially ones like me who have been suspended and are trying to get their a/c reinstated or those that are opening up fresh a/c's?

I'm sure ebay requires you to sign up for paypal, otherwise you can't sell, if i remember, sounds dumb, but I last signed up for paypal about 9 years ago, when stupid ebay didn't own it:eek:

mailing payments to the US to UK would take a long time, need something instant, what about a merchant a/c for uk ebayers?

Lucy, there IS no paypal alternative, to be frank. Ebay UK now require paypal on all listings, and from my experience, when paypal is offered, people will not pay via another payment method. If they do, it will be around 1 in 50 buyers.

Please start to hook onto the thought that, the dim reality is Paypal IS the only viable payment option on ebay.

Well if you take paypal from a country without paypal's "seller protection" then the buyer gets the item free so you can always say you won't ship outside those areas with paypal.

Are you required to link your ebay and paypal accounts?

In OZ, you can not sell unless ebay/paypal link & I do the same in the UK.:eek:

Yes, all UK ebay accounts must now be linked to a verified paypal account, and a verified paypal account must now be accpeted on every listing.
