missing a point...about using a merchant account WITH ebay
 

so there's a lot of ppl here using merchant accounts instead of paypal.

but do you guys actually select it as a payment method when listing auctions?
Because eBay requires to fax the merchant account info, and then if you're using it with an ebay account that has ⊗⊗⊗⊗ names,number,info, etc... how do you cope ?

It just takes a little extra work chocobulle, yes you're supposed to fax eBay details about the merchant account for you to be approved, but how can eBay stop you from sending merchant invoices to buyers after an auction? It's not the best way to do things, but you can still send them and request being paid that way. And yes you can select it as a payment option. Keep reading the forum.
