Do I Need A Paypal Account As Well?

Alright guys

I am curently looking at authorize.net + worldpay to start accepting payment online. I have read somewhere that I can use authorize.net to allow payment from debit, credit + even paypal..

If so I hope that the payments from people paying with paypal will go into my worldpay merhant account and not that I need to open up a paypal account

I was told by cybersource that they can do this and they own authorize.net (Who's Your Daddy). However, a authorize.net rep said authorize.net can't but cybersouce can.

HEY! Try calling them and ask :D

Services like authorize.net and CCNow dont require you to have a pp - the customers pay via their pp and the money goes directly to your bank.

CCNow accepts both cc payments and paypal payments OP

just wondering how difficult it is to intergrate the paypal option? As far as I am aware I have to use the AIM or DPM intergration option, rather than the standard SIM option.

I was just manually invoicing my customers who wanted to pay with PP or cc.

I would recommend you use their Community developer service.

Authorize.Net Developer Community - Authorize.Net Developer Community

They can walk you thro' most questions.

You will probably find your question already asked and answered too.

Are you going to have more than one payment source?

At the mo no, I'm just thinking about using authorize.net to accept payments via payal and debit, credit cards. They have said that they do allow membership site, and also digital downloads that I have the rights to sell

I hardly doubt that this is possible.. if you're using Authorize.Net, it takes credit cards (Visa, MC, DC) and American Express, maybe some other cards but PayPal? That's a different payment processor. Unless whomever you're getting your merchant account from covers this (I hardly doubt it), I don't see this possible.

Cybersouce which owns the department of Authorize.net claim they can do this.

PayPal, PayPal Express CheckOut, Pay Pal, Credit Card Processing - CyberSource

Cybersource was purchased by Visa in 2010 to complete with PayPal.
