Merchant Account + Shopify, how do it do it?
 

Alright guys,

I got approved by AlliedWallet for a merchant account.
However, I have no clue on how to integrate it.

Shopify does not have their gateway listed or I just have no clue.

They gave me the,

QuickPay API (AlliedWallet QuickPay 3D API v1.15.pdf)
CustomPay API (AlliedWallet CustomPay API.PDF)
Wallet API (AlliedWallet WalletPay API V1_15.pdf)

And also the

MERCHANT ID: *******-****-*****-*****
SITE ID: *******-****-*****-*****

What do I do with this information? Do I have a hire a programmer to integrate it, or can I do this by myself with some form of tutorial?

Someone at Shopify should be able to help you. They most likely have docs that walk you through the process. If Shopify supports them, it should just be a matter of activating it and adding your merchant codes. If Shopify does not support the gateway, then you will have to hire someone who knows how to set it up as a customized job. That could get expensive. But Shopify should be able to point you in the right direction. You could also call Allied Wallet.

Yeah, I figured it out, and also called shopify just to verify.

Basically I have the merchant account only, however I also need a payment gateway that is compatible with shopify. Time to do some phone calls! :P

To sum up

Merchant account must be compatible with a payment gateway (such as authorize.net, or psigate)
Payment Gateway must also be compatible with shopify.
If all are compatible then site should start accepting payments!

No problem. Authorize.net is probably the largest gateway out there.
