Permanently limited paypal account - can i use 3rd party system
 

my paypal account was permanently limited 5 years ago when i tried to upgrade to premier account. i used to take paypal payments on my website (not ebay). they would give no reason, other than 1 person on phone suggesting i had bad credit record (which i checked and could find nothing).

i got a barclaycard merchant account and have been using this integrated with pay360 (was paypoint). happily for 5 years.

i would like to offer paypal again,as pay360 offer this as an addon. is this possible or will i just get blocked?

nb i can still use my paypal account for purchases, add/ delete bank accounts, take payments (thouh i suspect i cannot take out more than $500 er month) . however i cannot check my limitation status, any link to 'chceck limits' sends me straight to my summary page and there is no ref at all in 'resolution centre'.

You have to call paypal and get the status of your account
as i know account not used for more than a year paypal will limit the account for some reason
can you tell me which country paypal account you are using

as far i know
if you dont used the account for a year paypal not limit the account
infact aged account have very low chances of limitation

hi, i have been using the account for personal purchases over that whole 5 year period. and a small number of personal ebay sales (amounting to no more than a few hundred pounds over 5 years) but i was told 5 years ago that it was permanently limited with no right to appeal. as mentioned, they wouldnt tell me why, other than 1 person on the phone suggesting it might be bad credit or that there has been complaints. i am in the uk. thanks so much for advise.
