Asking Ebayers to pay to non-limited paypal
 

My US stealth paypal was limited today after an influx of buy it nows coming in over the weekend. I chose to refund the 8 buyers and asked them via email to pay my legit paypal which is only a month old.

Will PP catch on to this and link the accounts? The payments requested to my legit pp wont have any indications of ebay item number or description of the item but the amount will be similar.

If yes, am I looking at 180 days and a good possibility to withdraw the money since its my legit paypal which I can provide docs for?

paypal will catch on rather quickly and shut you down.

Not only is PayPal going to catch on but customers are going to think something fishy is going on, why attract any negative attention? Unless you like negative attention then proceed.

If a seller asked me to do something like that, I would report them no questions asked.

by shut down do you mean close all accounts and keep the funds?

i would think you're scamming because i wouldnt think of buyer protection on that, on top of that, i'd feel like you're trying to run with the money and i'd chargebacks within a day of thinking if i actually did send it right away.

the responses are expected. however for some of these buyers I had already shipped out their orders before the stealth paypal became limited. my question is am I looking at 180 days before withdraw or absolutely no chance of withdraw and paypal just keeps my money? im not a paypal expert, any help would be appreciated.

PayPal is not going to keep your money...they will hold it for 180 days, after 180 days the money should be released.
