received appeal deny letter but pp shows they are reviewing
 

Received a letter from PayPal says appeal denied but when I log into PayPal it says they are reviewing my documents will get back to me in 2 working days - however 5 days past.

Still can receive funds. Not possible to wire out.

Any one else had the same issue?

Should I call them?

Yeah I would call them about the conflicting info.

You can send wire transfers from your Paypal account? How do I sign up for that?

pretty sure they will default to the worst scenario of denied, the review might just be sticking on there and not updated.......

they sent a letter - in the post?

Yeah the letter is exactly the same as all the other limitation letter. Copay and paste.

Very strange.

I logged back today and got into the classic site of the resolution center, they requested me to resolve delivery proof, so uploaded some files.

Should I call in or just wait longer.

I'm also pretty sure the account will stay limited.

I mean, I would leave it personally....

why, are you thinking the letter is a scam? or not from them?

but from experience, when you get a denied email and conflicting info like that, it still means a big fat no in the end, I suppose it makes no difference if you call or not...

No I don't think the letter is a scam, just feel a bit surprised that this kind of technical mistake would happened on PayPal.

I called them half hour ago confirmed pp is limited for good, wait for 180 days. But I still can receive payment from buyers, and I still can use this PayPal on my ebay listings. Incredible... would it be possible that after 180 days, when I be released to withdraw money, this PayPal still can accept money and withdraw money?!

Somebody messed up when putting the limitation on the account. A rookie that made rookie mistake. Don't put anything past them.

Do you mean, I just keep quiet and let it go like this? I still can receiving money but can not withdraw, so after 180 days, I can receiving and withdraw both on a limited PayPal account?

wait, why would you want to receive but not withdraw? to get it at 180 days?? I wouldnt...

I suppose this is because you do not have a good alternative account to switch your listings too?

It would be highly risky to continue to receive money into that Paypal account. If your account was permanently limited due to the documents you submitted, there is a real chance you won't be seeing any of the money again.

At the moment I switch my listing to other PayPal. This limited one is still added on receiving PayPal payment method on one of my ebay account (not linked to that ebay account, if you know what I mean).

Of course my dream is, after 180 days, when I can withdraw, I can get my money out, meanwhile, this limited PayPal still can receive money (right now it's no problem to receive money though PayPal send message to me says I can not).

In that way, it will be so perfect, a limited PayPal but still can receive and withdraw, I can use it like a normal PayPal on my listings plus it's a "limited" one, it won't be reviewed anymore!!

I hope it's not just a dream...

Try to find some similar situation here if someone they have the same thing before to prove it.

I had the issue before, at the beginning they ask to verify my identity and I failed, but they eventually give me the money by sending me a cheque. All the rest I withdraw.

I am thinking if PayPal ask for the identity verification for withdraw limited PayPal because there's too much money inside?

I have about 9K inside.

why is it a 'dream' to receive and not be able to withdraw!!! that would be my nightmare!

take our advice and stop now, switch all your sales to another paypal, and withdraw from that one regularly too.....

At the moment - only receive, not withdraw

After 180 days - receive and withdraw

I understand exactly what you mean....you spelled it out very clearly.

what people are saying here is that you are assuming you can withdraw at 180...........Ive just talked to a forumer on pm yesterday who got asked for id AFTER 180, they rejected it and now the money is stuck.......you are likely to get it all at 180 but it is not 100% guaranteed...

Why they ask for the ID? I had several pp limited before and had no issue to withdraw money out after 180 days. Why this one would have the issue?

I dont know why they asked for it from that person, and all I am saying is IF you have alternative accounts to take money on, then that would be better..........but you can go ahead and do your own idea, and most of the time it is ok at 180 according to the forum, it is up to you....
