Problem wtih Ireland Paypal customer support!
 

My friend called paypal Ireland customer service phone number (+35314369111) last week about this paypal account that he cannot make a payment (enough money on paypal balance but cannot make the payment through ebay checkout - error message that he needed to contact paypal customer service). After he got help from paypal several minutes later his paypal account was limited! So how to explain this? Are there bad employees working in that department and do they want to limit paypal accounts?

yes, you risk this if you call - alot of forumers are afraid to call!

If your account gets limited after a call - it means that it already had red flags on it, and it was only a question of time when it would happen automatically. Call just triggered a manual review. So... you need to be creative now.

Thats happen to with me twice
Ireland support is very bad and they even dont know how to resolve the issue
they just limit the account

If this is true then better to call Paypal USA, there are much friendly representatives (my friend told me) :dance:

First suggestion is to get your friend to join here. Your friend could have read the posts where there were issues with payments being completed.

You will find that there can be a enough sensible aid available on this forum whic can avoid the need to call PayPal.

There are risks with calling them and that must be taken into account of considering a call. But having info from the forum can often be enough to know how to resolve troubles.

I had a paypal account limited myself also for 180 days and after 180 days I call paypal Ireland. There were many limitations on this paypal account. Ireland Paypal representative said that the last limitation date counts, but the first limitation date counts toward the 180 days of course. Pointless to argue with such workers as they don't know all information 100% about paypal for sure. Called again and talked to another representative to add a card to a limited paypal account. (Couldn't add it myself because of error "Sorry we cannot add this card"). So some of these workers in paypal are not qualified to even work there definitely.
