New Stealth Paypal UK Account Limited Indefinitely

Hi,

Was hoping someone can help me with this.
I bought PP/Ebay stealth package and followed the guidelines.

2 days after my first listing went up.....BAM! Limited.

Called paypal and they just said you can't have a paypal account anymore and we will be holding funds for 180 days?

Wtf?? There is no way they linked accounts etc as my others are still active.

There is a nice little chunk of money in there and feel I'm screwed as I know once 180 days is up they are going to ask for random ID docs that I wont be able to provide.

Anyway around this?

Please help anyone.

Many thanks in advance :)

What sort of item did you sell on the account?

Reaper1 11-21-2016 08:15 PM

Same as my other acc's.

Beauty products.

No chargebacks, no complaints....they just all of a sudden slammed me. First time they have gone all out like this :/ Maybe they switch up the heat nearer christmas? I dunno :/

There is no way round it bro. You just gotta wait it out for the 180 and see what happens after that.

Maybe talk to the seller who sold you the account and work out what happened so it dont happen again.
GL :)

Also, if you started listing iphone7 etc. and a load of them then thats why you got closed down.
Just saw your post above.... beauty products are sort of high risk.

As you say you got closed down after a couple of days and there is a nice chunk of money in there..... this leads me to believe you hit account too hard too soon = close down.

Also, near Christmas and certain other times of the year, they crack (not the rocks) down hard.

Christmas is for sure a very hard time for the accounts. Ebay hammer will fall very hard...

As per your sentence above, is not really true... things can be done by "artists" and talented people ;)

The account I supplied you back in August 2016 has 5 negative feedbacks claiming the branded make up is counterfeit??

If it's the same item being sold on this account and it is counterfeit like those customers are claiming then that would certainly explain the permanent limitation.

That is a pretty wide number of products that could cover

Are these branded make up items?

There are no counterfeits being sold as far as I am aware. There were a splurge of orders were people were trying to claim funds back (and failed). So if we want to disclose my personals, let us do it correctly. 3 of the 5 was from 1 ebayer ordering things to different addresses firstly claiming not to have received them, then went down the other route.

'The account you sold me' took a hit of neg feedback yes. So I took it on the chin and abandoned it.

Thanks for that

That's always a strange thing to say I find

You need to be 100% sure that the items you sell are real. That is your duty as a seller

I wasn't disclosing any personals. The details on the account and the details of the item specifics were not mentioned.

I only checked the account feedback profile because for some reason you stated that you had purchased the account. I recalled selling you an account months ago and wanted to check whether it was the one I had sold you or not.

I am making no assertions either way as to the authenticity of what you are selling, nor do I particularly care. My point was that IF the goods sold on this latest account were counterfeit and branded then this is why Paypal would shut you down without even asking for invoices. Certain products can trigger this reaction from them.

Low end brands but yeah :/ I guess they either starting selling too quickly or Paypal has perhaps had recent chargebacks for similar items? Maybe should have auctioned 1 or 2 first to test the waters?

My guess would be the volume of products being sold in the first two days triggered someone to look at the account. When they saw what was being sold, they've not liked it and permanently limited you.

No problem, do appreciate your response and thanks for taking the time to look into it.

Sorry, just on edge since got off the phone to paypal for a second time and they might as well have just laughed at me, the smarmy botties

Have invoices from what I believe to be a reputable seller. But, there is always that chance they may decide to screw someone one time for a quick buck.

If your buying from large legit companies then that is very slim but yes it is a remote possibility.

Moving forward you must know the authenticity of your items from your supplier, especially your Chinese friend.

;)

One used to be large but has sized down in the past 2 years but still reputable.

Just make sure they are not actually a Chinese company :)

They do not sell real branded make up items.

Curiously, I am getting notifications from Paypal telling me my funds are now available?

Is it advisable to try and pull these funds out do you think? :/
