Paypal got limited. Advice

I need help asap. I just opened my business account 2 weeks ago. I started selling and have done pretty well so far. Then i get my account limited and they are wanting me to verify ssn. Or i can provide a 1099. This account is used with a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name so i need to do something quick. Any ideas?

I know this isn't what you want to hear but if used ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info and they are asking for SSN, the only option is to make a new account. Its best to always have a few accounts aging.

You mean, they didn't give you to do 2 out of 3 choices to lift this limit? Just asked outright for SS? Wow!

Lyda, the 2 out of 3 options is to lift a withdrawl limit. Wolfgang says his account is limited, that's different then what you're talking about. :bounce:

I was curious, is there rhyme or reason on when ebay asks for a ss#. I am following advice and spreading my auctions over a goal of 10 stealth accounts. I have 3 created so far. I am afraid of hitting some ebay magic dollar volume at which point they will ask for ss#. My products are around $20 each so we are talking a lot of auctions. I am thinking trying to stay under $4000 in sales a month, $1000 a week, on each account might be smart? As always any advice is appreciated.

Lol Lyda, I knew you must have misread it. I do that sometimes to.:D

Now, there is no set amount when paypal will limit an account. They usually limit an account if they see an increase in sales all the sudden, or if you have a lot of money in your account they will limit you, to keep it for the 180 days. I think $1000 a week is a little much on a new account. You should try to spread them out, over a few accounts.

Thanks for all the input guys. If we all stick together we will find new solutions to ebay and paypal's monapoly. So far i have given them all the verification they have asked for except for ssn. I am still working on that issue. If i find any new tricks or solutions i will for sure post them in here. Is anyone really good with photoshop? If so pm me.

lakeman,

Thanks for the response. I will lighten up on the first ID that is going to run about a thousand a week. I wanted to keep my different manufacturers as seperate ebay ID's, as seperate businesses, so am hesitant to move some of that line to another ID for fear of ebay linking them. So I will build it a little each week and keep transferring 80% of the money out of paypal every time I get to about $500 in there. I do appreciate the assistance!
