paypal requesting W-9 updated

I used my middle name and a misspelt of my last name with an EIN for tax purposes and recently got a request from paypal per the IRS to send w9 update the name on my account because it is mismatched. I have until Jan 5th to respond.
Now the problem is the ebay associated with that paypal got limited in May.
So how should I go about this?
Should I just give paypal what they are asking
