faxing docs for limitations
 

due to possible linking issues, advice is to fax docs rather than download if possible, but what fax services do you guys use, a library or faxing/copy place, is trhere a way to use your own fax and hide the number, Ive looked at the free trials for online faxing services but you have to download files, I assume the file references for user get hidden or overlaid with the fax company ID, but unsure, any tips?

i use the same fax number over and over without linking..has anyone said they been linked by a fax number??

no, no ones said that, I had a little look on forums, but I think it must be an issue for linking

killa, in early 2008 (or thereabouts) ebayhateluv toted this idea of faxing
the docs instead of via the computer. It allowed an extra layer of protection (by providing nothing to link ) AND the printout paper as a receipt was helpful to argue any points with paypal like I have faxed the
documents etc etc.

oh ok...well for the record...i have faxed ebay dozens of times form the same number and i have not been linked because of it.

great to know fax number doesnt link you, but I would still try and fax from a variety of numbers to make sure...

another thing Ive tried was if downloading files to paypal, to make a completely seperate user on your computer name it something, upload under it and then delete it after, so files say that user name but it will never be used again.
