International package lost no insurance
 

Mailed a package to a buyer that I have sent at least 5 total in last 6 months but last one never arrived. Was sent over 50 days ago and the tracking says in still in transit. I did not have insurance the item was $195. Is there anything I can do or mark it up as a loss?

If its not got any insurance and the item is lost then you have to mark it up as a loss I am afraid

No harm on doing that

Has the buyer contacted you to say that they have not had the item?

No they opened a PayPal claim and I lost but tracking still says it's on it way

Have the carrier return the parcels to you. You may have to pay but at least they wont get both the item and money

So a buyer that had purchased from you before went straight to a PayPal claim when there was a sign of a problem?

And you did not reach out to them?

I reached out and no response. It has been over 50 days from shipment

Ah, how did I know it was likely to be from there.

Suggestions:

Do not ship to Albania if the items are over $50. Too much profit to give away.

Try to follow Big CJ suggestion to retrieve the goods.

Sadly, that country is known for less than ideal postal services.
