How to get PayPal Limited on purpose?
 

Hi everyone,

I have a PayPal account that I abandoned how can I get it limited to where I have to wait 180 days?

I did receive this email today


"Dear PayPal User,

We emailed you on November 17, 2016 asking for additional information about your account. Since we haven’t received a response from you, your account has been further limited.

Your PayPal account has been limited because your sales volume has increased significantly. This probably just means your business is doing well. However, as your payment processor, we need to better understand these changes and how they relate to your sales.

What does this mean?

This account limitation will affect your ability to:

send money
withdraw money
receive money
Additionally, you cannot:
remove any bank accounts
remove credit cards
close your account
What to do next

Please log in to your PayPal account and visit the Resolution Center to provide the requested information. If we don’t receive this information, we will be unable to remove this limitation.

Once we receive and review your documentation, we will email you regarding the status of your account.


We appreciate your attention to this matter.

Read the second line of his post... he wants to get it permanently limited, to access the money after 180 days.

OP, you could contact Paypal and tell them that you are unable to provide what they have asked for. Hopefully they will then just permanently limit you.

But may then NOT release the funds.

So think about about giving that not too sage advice.

Game has changed.
PayPal is getting tougher even in the USA regarding releasing funds.

PayPal makes it so hard to release funds in hope that you will forget about it and guess who keeps the funds?

Paypal sucks really. Good thing I found a solution to limited accounts - withdraw to bank account in Estonia. Bank account can be addedd easily in Estonia, there will be no errors. Errors only happen when you try to add a credit card.

You are right .
PayPal very sucks, and invest many money on security programming
Money laundering through Paypal, stolen accounts, ect, all this is the result of investment in safety
That why people have now big problems with paypal, 4-5 years ago, we can send, withdraw, load money on paypal wihout this problems.

Not 4-5 years ago more like 10+ - it was pretty rough 4-5 years ago as well but the 180 day limitation-guaranteed withdrawal was perhaps better
