How Long Is 'Permanent'?
 

I have seen many accounts being permanently limited but is this ban completely permanent? What I'm trying to say is if maybe 10 years down the road, if someone were to go back onto PP and enter the same information as their old, now banned account, would the link between the two still be made?

As far as I have ever been able to tell PayPal never delete details.

If you get banned then using the same details tomorrow would have the same results as using the same details in 10 years time.

That is part guess work though as I have not ever tried so maybe in 10 years time give it a go and tell us how you get on :)

The Oxford English Dictionary website says permanent means:

'Lasting or intended to last or remain unchanged indefinitely'

I think a timespan might be helpful on same details...but to avoid risk change/tweak a couple of things on name and address....
