paypal limited linked to another account
 

Hello everyone!
My new paypal account has been limited and I need some advise in order to restore it.My main concern is about linked account.It says that I need to resolve the issue with another account.The problem is that another old account was on my wife's name and she can't logon there even.She has tried to recover the password few times but the following message appeared "we couldn't verify your information".What is the best option would be: keep trying to recover the password by writing a letter to them or leave it as it is and say that I don't know anything about it?

Best option might be to leave the whole mess behind and start fresh via stealth.

You could try to say that you don't know anything about it - but I wouldnt rely on the account to last very long, in general due to linking

The main problem is that $700 left on balance and I don't want to leave them to paypal

If you really want to get back your account then you have to ring paypal with your wife on line and you have to discuss the agent will all the things and afterward they can help you in this situation

I would ask your wife to phone PayPal and see if they can help her recover her password

Does she remember the email address she used with PayPal?

You wont be leaving that money behind. You can get it withdrawn after 180 days regardless - so youre not losing that money either way.
I agree with rsot - sounds like moving on might be the best way to spend your energy cause this looks like a lost cause.

He will loose the money after 180 days
now paypal will not allowing the withdrawl before verfication

I would like to know what the outcome of this is. I am having the same exact issue with one of my first stealth. Literally have the same amount stuck in there. I added a VBA in the hope that it will get rid of the limited status. Or i might have to add a real account to attempt to withdraw to that. They are also asking for documents :rip:.

I am in the same similar position. I have several accounts linked to accounts with 'unresolved issues'. On my stealth account PP has requested all these documents ID, proof of what I am selling, etc etc. I didn't respond to anything and did not verify any information.

Six months later received the email to say I can withdraw the funds but my account will still remain limited.

So yes you WILL get your money back.

As I stated before Paypal have no legal power to seize your funds unless it is involved in criminal activity which then appropriate authorities like the Police will get involved and seize the funds under the proceeds of crime act. As long as the cash is clean and you have no chargebacks etc within six months you will get your money good.

Now I am waiting for my next two accounts that are limited with funds in there for PP to release.
