Depositing to UK Bookmaker

Hi,

Stealth account is all set up, no Bank Account. VCC is entropay. Stealth details are UK.

When i try to deposit, I get a paypal error message:

"You appear to be located in a country that doesn't allow payments to this merchant".

Anyone seen this message before?

And are you located in the UK?

If you are, then it could be due to the VCC being issued by a bank outside of the UK (Bank Of Valletta, I believe).

That would make sense then. Do you know which VCC are issued in the UK, if any?

I'm not saying that definitely is the issue, only that it could be.

Are you trying to fund the bookmaker account from the Paypal balance or were you using the VCC as the funding source?

If it is the latter, then try to use the Paypal balance as the funding source instead (obviously money will need to be transferred from elsewhere).

I can't help with VCC suggestions. The ones I use are all issued outside of the UK.

I think you've hit the problem, as when I remove the card and try and deposit, I'm then prompted to add a card with a message:

"Please add a card from the country where your PayPal account is registered"

I'd missed that little nugget from last time.

I've got money in the wallett, but it still asks for a credit card.

I know 3V were UK, but they have closed. Will have to find another UK VCC source.

u guys, put the book maker account in real details and withdraw to real bank?
do bookmaker etc allow a deposit to be made in one name and then withdrawn to another?

If you deposit via one method you have to withdraw via the same method

For example if you deposit via PayPal you will then have to withdraw via PayPal

You are also likely to get hit with a KYC request from the bookmakers if you win much money so really your own details should be used

ok, strange how you cannot deposit via pp and withdraw to bank
good cashout method if it worked.

Gambling has very strict rules that govern it. Only being able to withdraw the way you deposit is one of them

Entropay is still working you can used it easily on selected paypal list

It can cause issues when being used with some countries PayPal accounts.

It wont always cause an issue, but it is causing issues more and more often now

I'm going to pick this thread back up.

What I've noticed is, after creating the stealth paypal, then funding with a p2p payment and trying to deposit to the bookmaker this fails with a generic paypal error.

If i wait a period of time (testing at the moment), about 48 / 72 hrs, the deposit goes through.

Anyone any ideas on this? Internal paypal process?

Would have thought it was their risk algorithm....72 hrs seems pretty reasonable actually, surprised it is that slack.......just roll with it....
