Question about Paypal Ireland customer service!
They are so bad really. I just called them after 180 days it stated in my limited paypal account resolution center that I need to confirm a credit card, but after I called them they removed that from the resolution center.
And the customer service representative also said - you must have received a wrong e-mail that you can withdraw money after 180 days!! :bounce::bounce:
That is a big lie :mad:
Where could I complain about these idiots that are working there? |

| Maybe, but I already added a bank account, confirmed it and made the withdraw. Looks like the only option that works after 180 days is to withdraw to a bank account. |

they are really nice if they are dealing with a routine enquiry...polite, cheerful, helpful......
on the other hand - the one time I bothered to call them about being perm limited once, they were horrible and talked down to me - he said I could never use paypal again, and I enjoyed telling him I had loads of paypal accounts running and he was choking on his words when I slammed the phone down.... |

What is wrong with your accent? is your account in a different nationality details? that is a bad idea, you have to speak the language if you need to call that county call center, or sound correct if speaking English to them.
I try not to call, and do not really need to, if accounts run correctly - I do a good Sith Ifrican (south african) but that is just for fun..... |

I read his post as saying that they recognise his voice, and that because he is always calling regarding Estonian accounts, they would know that it's him.
Whether or not the accent matches the nationality on the account should be totally irrelevant. It's the same sort of thing as having a female name but calling in with a male voice. |

| Yes I'd say very risky to call them and talk about your not limited paypal account - chances are big that you get limited on the same day :mad2:
However if your account is already limited then you have nothing to loose when calling them! :suspicious: |

A mojority are acting as if Paypal are the as*holes and the ones being rude and ignorant yet look at the way you are acting, you are acting like a stuck up, pompus prick. They are rude to you becuase chances are you are calling them and demanding for them to do something. At the end of the day, they have your money and you need to lick their ass if you want to get your money. |

I'm avoiding to call ireland support anymore, im from romania. im calling us support and ask them to transfer me to claims and dispute department, but i always have a little fight on the phone saying that the ireland support is opened, and that the us guys cant help me but i figure it out. so call u.s support. one thing i dont like about us support is that they ask for my name first, unlike ireland asking for one time passcode. |

I've spoken to Paypal about 7-10 times over last 4-6 months and I've never, ever had any problems with them. I've phoned them about various different problems and glitches and they have resolved everything within few minutes.
Maybe its me, maybe I can charm people even over the phone, or maybe I can just play it cool and get into a character and it feels like I'm talking about my real account... Or maybe its just that I talk to them like a normal human and crack few jokes here and there and don't treat them like they are some sort of animals.
I mean, we all know they ****ing animals, but when you call them don't rub it in.
(Read "****ing animals" with Bill Burr voice and it makes sense)
