What are the common causes of Limitation?

I've been reading these posts for a few weeks now to slowly learn how to maintain a stealth. But I have one question... what are the most common actions that causes a Paypal account to "limit" you?

Sorry if that's a dumb question, I just want to learn. And I'm not referring to 21 day holds or when you get near the 200 item or $20K a year. If I do everything in the e-book to be Paypal verified (and don't accidentally link accounts) I would think I should be fine.

Can types of items listed (or how fast you list) cause you to be Paypal limited? I would think that's more of an ebay issue instead right? I've read some get their Paypal limited well after a year of using it. How? Aren't you pretty much in the clear by then?

Sell too much too fast or trying to sell very high risk items up first.

Using something like a very bad VPN will also limit you very fast.

I get it if PayPal looks at how much or fast you sell because it involves large sums of money collectively. But High risk items are looked at by PayPal too? I would think that it would only be looked at by eBay since they deal with the listing/selling side and PayPal only deals with money.

So most of the members who've posted they got their account limited, it's mostly because it got linked, or they jumped into selling aggressively too quickly? Is there a suggested dollar amount maximum per sale to stay under during the first 90 days?

Yes high risk items are also looked at by paypal. They assess the level of risk associated with accounts and this is one of the ways they do so. Im sure their criteria are a bit different from eBay's but that doesnt take away from the fact they do go through accounts and evaluate them based on items sold.
And limitations can come about for any number of reasons which would apply at all times - items sold, linking to other accounts, cases opened against the account, etc etc.
