This kind of limitation ?
 

Hi everyone. I got an email from paypal yesterday asking for proof of identity via automated phone call or docs.
I have successfully completed the phone verification but it's still limited and when I log into PayPal account, this is what it says only :
Thanks for checking in with us. Your documents are still being reviewed. We'll email you when your identity has been verified.
My question is, are they really still reviewing the docs (even if I have not submitted anything and just did the automated verification ) ? Or is this account now gone ?
Has anyone encountered this type of limitation? How long did you need to wait for it to be restored ?

Your going to need to give it a few days. Usually they take 3/4 days to review things like this (although it can be a lot faster)

PP is awfully slow for these checks OP - as James stated...time to wait...

With regards to these accounts being limited. It was due to suspicious activity and they want to confirm my identity.

On both occassions, they asked for phone verification or send in proof of identity docs

On the same day, one one of the accounts, I have confirmed my identity via phone verification (Soho66 forwarded to mobile). It seems like I passed. But on the message it says afterwards that they are still reviewing my docs (even if I didnt send any) and they will email when done. Its now been 5 days....

The other account, instead of Phone Verification, I sent in a copy of Passport, after 5 hours, that account has been restored!!!

Are they really still trying to verify that phone verified account? Or shall I consider this one gone?

Any one with experience on this please

I had the same problem with a limited account that had the option to withdraw money already after 45 days. All I did just kept on changing the password many times and when finally got in then made the withdraw. After that I never logged in to that account again. I even called paypal to remove that block, but they told in Ireland that they cannot do it! Strange thing was that I never even provided any documents to them and just one day I logged in that message was there (your documents are still being reviewed).
And lately I had a problem with a paypal account where I had logged in from different locations and paypal put a block on my account when trying to log in immediately ID was requested(suspisous activities).
