not able to get money out after 180 days?
 

Hi everyone,
My paypal got limited due to me traveling in Japan on holiday. I restored the account by sending in proof of address but once I got back to the US upon logging in I got limited again. They asked for SSN which I was not able to provide. Now, they permantly limited me. The lady I spoke to on the phone said that I cannot withdraw my account AFTER 180 days and I must provide photo ID or they will never release the funds! I have $1200 stuck in the account for items already shipped that's available for withdraw. Is this true or can I talk to a lawyer about this?

Note that different reps will tell you different things.
When the time comes to withdraw the funds see if its doable and if not make the phone calls till you get one that is more cooperative.
And as a last resort you might need to get 'creative' (or pay someone to do so for you) if they insist on an ID.

Some agents told me I need to provide ID, some didnt. Wht are the odds?

Keep pushing until one of them allows you to add a bank.

I have a bank that's already linked that works fine.

Im in the same situation with a stealth account. Would like to know how that turns out.
