PayPal limited for selling Apple iPhone unlocking services
 

Hi, everyone. I used to run iPhone carrier unlocking business on eBay for almost 2 years using my own verified business account. Successfully fighting with chargebacks and doing all the routine work. One day I received pretty big payment from my long-time buyer so there was almost 20k USD on the account and PP started reviewing me. In the beginning, they decided that my business is high-risk and set a reserve for xxxx USD + 50% rolling reserve with 45 days hold period from any new transaction. This was freaking painful but I still could survive.

A week later they asked to provide a proof that Apple authorized me to perform iPhone unlocking. Sure I don't have one and now my PP acc is limited and my eBay business with almost 2k feedback score can't accept any payments.

So question is - if there's any solution to get my PayPal acc back on track?
Or is there a way for opening a new PP acc and continue using my previous eBay account?

yes you need a pp account first, then you will be able to modify the payment options with the new pp account on your ebay listings
i did this before, so far so good

Technically this is the way of doing it, practically it will not last for long.
Accounts will be linked (old to new PayPal and eBay) and OP will be stuck again.

artemyriga, best way is to start fresh with a new pair of eBay+paypal. Follow stealth rules and you will be good.

Being your activity very risky, I would suggest to have more than one account :thumb:

You are doomed. You need to start a fresh EB + PP, all new. Useless to create new PP and add it to old EB, as it will cause link, and new PP will be limited in no time.

more than 1 month but you may need several pp/ebay accounts just in case
start fresh is a good idea because there will not be any link
