Paypal holiding my fund for over 180 days , dont know how to release
 

OK, my problem is I have 2 other paypal accounts in my name so I opened an account with a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name and address but linked with the bank with my real name. Paypal asked for proof of ID , I had no other option other than sending them my actual passport and bank statement. The declined the appeal and held my fund for 180 days. 180 days passed, I called them and they said they would only talk to the person whose name is in the account. I dont know what to do. When the declined my appeal they said they would let me know after 180 days how to withdraw the fund. But I have no contact from them.

Are they gonna hold the money forever? I have £700 in my paypal fund.

You sent them your real I.D which has a different name from the name on the account ?? First mistake

You agreed to not being the person whose name is on the account ?? Second mistake

Call them back and act as if you are the person on the account - if they ask for ID, you will need to provide ID of that account name details - not hard if you think about it...

From now on, don't take action without asking forum first - always easier to act AFTER getting advice rather than damage control

The only way out of this mess is to call Paypal USA limitations department phase 2! Only they will help you!
Then you can withdraw your money after 180 days. Actually if you call that department then you don't even have to provide any ID for paypal to withdraw your money.
