Permanently Limited due to changing settings?
 

Okay i know this is a new one but here goes. I have looked at all possibilities of how I could have had two accounts permanently go down via PayPal. Here's what's I've come up with.

I use ShipStation to ship all my items, which doesn't link accounts but all items go out with the same return address. So a competitor may have bought both and then reported me.

I do sell the same products on both accounts, varying them of course (prices, pictures, etc)

One account would have a quick decrease in income and one had a quick increase. But this behavior is normal and both accounts are around 1 year old.

The last idea I can come up with is I changed the selling email notification on both ebay and PayPal so I would only receive emails from buyers and I could respond to them quicker.

The reason I believe it's the third option is because I only did this to two accounts, because I was worried something might happen to all of them. And of course only those two PayPal accounts were permanently banned.

Lastly I sell Vero items and have been fine for a while but these two accounts and a third got trademark violations at around the same time.

The PayPal email claims it was the Vero item, and gives me one transaction ID. There was never a case or anything related to this ID.

I doubt it was a competitor. Sounds like too much of a stretch.
The items being similar might have been a contributing factor but I doubt it would been enough on its own.
I doubt the change to email settings had anything to do with it.
Out of everything you said it sounds most likely that it was the trademark violations those accounts received were the reason. If the third one didn't get it then it was lucky or it will happen soon enough with that one as well.
