PayPal must be getting stricter or something. ..

So I used an aged business PayPal stealth account. Received one or two payments and then BOOM limited, need ID. Anyone else experiencing this with PayPal being stricter?

How old are they? Any previous transaction history? What was the amount and what was it for?

6 months, no history, 24.98 3 different times, supplements.

Did you ease into it?

Day 1: Log into the account
Day 2: Log into account, view a few pages
Day 3: Accept low risk payment
Day 4: hold funds in account, no other payments for 2-3 days
Day 7: more transactions

Basically building up to it..

You never want to just load up an account and start new payments.. especially without browser cookies intact, some history, low risk payments, etc.

Of course it could be other factors as well.

Were the sales on eBay or just through PayPal?

The no history is the biggest factor but it could be dozens of reasons why it was linked.

Yes, that's what happening to me. I got 5 accounts (including new and aged) limited at the third payment. I am thinking about only accept two payments on each account and then wait for it to become available.

Limitations so quickly after making sales on account with no prior history is nothing new. It's just their way of verifying your info and vetting the new account as you gradually use it.

PayPal has no idea what you're doing at first and needs to refer to any past history or account data they have on file. Lacking that, they will limit once a threshold is crossed to get the info they want from you. This is a complex algorithm based on numerous factors, and varies from one account to another.

Is this day 1, day 2, etc. setup referring to the start of the PayPal account from day 1 creation? Just want to be sure. And hi Aspkin!

EBay. I'm thinking it was too much money too fast.

Also if you're selling supplements I believe those are considered high risk by ebay

Usually low amount first payment doesn't trigger limitation, but fast second payment received after first payment can also be same amount and that wil trigger limitation. Some years ago you could get away with it, but now yes paypal is more strict!

That category is going to have these issues no matter what you do. I would just add in docs into your builds. Just an extra step.

I do not mind getting an ID request right away. It makes the account stronger very fast.

If they tracked that you have sent ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ID, slim chances but still.

Bro paypal has been awful latley...limiting left right and center...but i noticed one thing i had in common with all my accounts the AGE part. Its best if you make an account wait like a week (obviously link a bank and confirm it) then do a sale if you make an account and not do anything with it for 6 months its still the same as if you did for a week...wait for the funds to be released then do another sale (do not withdraw the funds for a month) then buy a few things (this helps allot) Also the title name of your product...if its the same as the others on a different account that will go down in flames....hope this helps
