Year old PayPal stealth account put back on 21 day hold?!
 
So one of my PayPal accounts has a 21 day hold reinstated on Friday.

Called them up to see why they investigated it and today said they will not be taking the holds of yet. It's like it's gone back to a brand new account.

The amount I sell hasn't increased within the last 3 months. Items are of the same value also.

Bit confused to what is going on. Any suggestions?

Holds do just come back sometimes

You just have to wait it out. They tend to go away again after a few weeks

I've had about 3 disputes within the whole year it's been operating and they've been sorted within a couple of hours.

Have noticed my withdrawal times going to 72 hours over the past 2 weeks.

Do you think this is a warning of a limitation?

All documents have been submitted and passed inspection last year

Following our review, we regret that for the moment we can’t exempt your PayPal account from having temporary holds placed on payments you receive.

We review accounts at 90 day intervals. We will contact you by email if we later make your account exempt from these temporary holds.

How do I avoid Holds in the future?

There are several things you can do to help establish a good selling history with PayPal - so you've a better chance of avoid holds in the future:

Keep your PayPal account up to date and in good standing (i.e. Verified with up to date financials)Post quickly using a service that provides tracking and delivery confirmationCommunicate early and often with your buyersResolve customer disputes quickly
