It is the UK phone number. Just ring paypal US with the details and fix it up. I hope you have the details?

what details should i have?

it has been over year since i tried to login into the acct. it was limited a while ago with $1400 in it.

is the money still in there?

Money is there being 'held' by paypal. Have you your password, secret question,email address, phone number associated with the account? Do you recall if the account was made with paypal UK or paypal USA?

it's a USA account. i'm pretty sure that i still remember all of that information.

something is bothering me though. so they will ask me for that info to identify me... and then what else are they going to ask me? what should i say i'm calling about in the first place? should i just say i'm trying get my $1400?

that seems too easy...

what do i need to say to them?

Paypal: 'Certainly,Sir. What is your name, etc etc.'
nb: have the info and be sure of yourself. Double check the info B4 calling.Give the info [as they ask, offer NOTHING extra You should pick up quickly if the call is going well. Listen and answer. :peace:

UPDATE:

Okay guys so I called Paypal @402-935-2050 and went through its automated system. It asked me for my phone number and I entered my old number (I have a new number now) and the automated voice asked me if I was calling to pay overdue fees or something to that effect! I should still have $1400 in there!

Where did my money go? Is it gone forever?

Usually, 180 days pass then you get a notice that the money is available for withdrawal. If you know your account details it shouldnt be a problem, apart, of course, from the 6 months of no access to your own money.

The problem with that is that the email address no longer existed during the time I would've received the email. I let the domain expire. I guess I'm just out $1400. :(

You don't have to get the email to withdraw the funds. Call paypal if the 180 days have past and tell them you want to withdraw the funds.
