Paypal Limited (Help with information) All legal!
 

My Paypal account got limited today don't know why, no illegal transactions, no suspicious things, no chargebacks... I just have a graphic design service just like a hobby, i create graphics for customers and they pay through paypal, small amounts from 1€ to 15€ max... And then i withdraw for my bank account all fine, i do it for almost a year.
My account is normal not business.


3x things they ask
- Photo ID
- Address Proof
- Information on account activity (A box where i need to write a text about my activity beetween the dates from X to Y.)

So Paypal ask for proof like ID and Address and i can send to them all fine, no ⊗⊗⊗⊗.

I need your help guys for tell me what i need to write?? I don't know... How i explain the payments? Should i tell them i create graphics for people and they pay me for that? All payments are F&F...

Just tell them what the payments were for and submit ID.

Were the payments from customers sent as goods/service? or Friends? as that will piss them off if you get too many friend payments.

But if i tell them i'm selling graphic design service without a business account they will suspend me?

No they won't ban you for that I use many persoanl accounts for stuff like that.

The Family & Friends payments is what has probably done this to your account.

You cannot do many F&F payments like that . That's most likely what did it for you.

Welcome to the forums btw.

So I highly recommend you read the ebay stealth. I think you'll really need it if you want to operate your ebay accounts correctly.

Yea, if you're running a service you need to increase your price and take the payment as goods/service so you stop stiffing PP outta their fees. Send your ID info and tell them you're doing some graphic design work for a few people you know. Going forward, do as stated above.. take it as goods/service.

They certainly can and do.

Usually you get a warning email first before an outright ban.

Got my account restored :)

They told me this:

"Personal payments are intended for sending a gift, splitting a lunch bill, paying your share of the living expenses, and everyday exchanges of money between friends and family. We've noticed that some of your customers are sending you personal payments for purchases of items or services. This is against our rules, and we need your help correcting it. Please don't ask or allow your customers to use personal payments to pay for their purchases.

If we continue to see this happen, we may have to disable your ability to receive free personal payments, meaning you'll pay fees for all money received through PayPal."

Any advice for what i need to do in the future for don't break their rules?

As mm78 says, stop using f&F and start using goods or service payments. Simple.

If you continue receiving f&f payments there's a strong chance you will get banned.
