| | | random_011 | 07-25-2017 06:05 AM | Paypal accounts getting limited over and over So I decided to make some stealth accounts just in case .
The new accounts are made on different users on my computers with different IPs , phone numbers, credit cards, emails and addresses , email verified on all of them , none of them have anything in common with any of the rest, no ebay or paypal emails are viewed using the IPs of the other accounts, everyone one of them has a browser dedicated to it, and for some reason , the moment one of them receives a payment FROM EBAY , it gets limited shortly after.
What am I doing wrong , I don't get it , are you supposed to let them age for a week or two or what, I've had 3 limitations already. |
| random_011 | 07-25-2017 06:09 AM | Re: Paypal accounts getting limited over and over Here is the email :
Your PayPal account has been limited because we've noticed significant changes in your account activity. As your payment processor, we need to understand these changes better.
What does this mean?
This account limitation will affect your ability to:
send money
withdraw money
Additionally, you cannot:
remove any bank accounts
remove credit cards
close your account My very first account didn't get limited but the paypal account was about 4 or 5 days old before I started using it. All these new ones however, that I start using right away, they keep getting limited. |

| phaz0rz | 07-25-2017 08:43 AM | Re: Paypal accounts getting limited over and over I vote it's something you're doing wrong creating the accounts. They can't notice "a significant change in your payment activity" when you've only received one payment. Give some details about how you are making the accounts (methods/hardware used) and I'll bet someone here finds an error in your process. |
| random_011 | 07-25-2017 09:33 AM | Re: Paypal accounts getting limited over and over Ok, I change my IP, make a new user accounts , new email , new phone and a new credit card
I register on paypal as a business , I insert the new phone , email, address etc. ( name is the same on everything EXCEPT - KEEP READING ) Once the paypal is created, I verify the email. Afterwords I create a new virtual card and link it. Like I said once I change my IP , I NEVER open any emails from the account associated with that IP using any other IP , nor do I sign into it ever using a different IP
Now, that I think about it, there are only 2 possible reasons for this to happen:
- The first reason is kind of obvious, I am not selling authentic items (although I am not selling authentic items which is clearly stated in my listings, I never get complaints , charge-backs or negative reviews) which is what paypal told me the reason was when I called them yesterday. They literally told me that they lose a lot of money with the type of items I sell which I think is total BS . HOWEVER , about 2 weeks ago with the same exact process, I sold quite a lot of things and my paypal never got limited , there was just two things that were different and here they are : The account was about 5-6 days old, the name that I used on that account is the same name as my credit card, which brings me to possible reason number 2 - Using a different name that what it is on my credit card. Yes, I only have two names, if I want a third one things will get really complicated with the provider. Every time I link my card, I always make a new one that has never been used before but the name on it is different than my name on paypal. I tried making payments the first time I linked a card using a different name that the name on the card and it worked just fine. Also, the first time I got limited , I made a brand new payapl on that same user and IP, different phone and address , I did not link a card to it but it also got limited. ( and yes , I sold items on it too )
I just need some more testing to do I guess
*** by the way , although I am not selling authentic items which is clearly stated in my listings, I never get complaints , charge-backs or negative reviews |
| phaz0rz | 07-25-2017 09:48 AM | Re: Paypal accounts getting limited over and over Are you giving them an EIN each time you make a new account? It's recommended to start with a personal account and later upgrade so you can decide whether or not you want to give them an EIN. It also helps you avoid the "release amount" that's always applied to new business accounts.
I process direct CC payments so I can tell you with near certainty the name on the card isn't causing this. If that were an issue your card would never have been accepted by Paypal. AVS checks : zip code, zip+4 code, street address
Are you not aging your selling accounts by selling low-risk items for a month or so? It doesn't sound like you are, and that's likely why you keep getting limited. Starting off with a high-risk listing is always a bad idea on a brand new account. Next time you make an account, spend a couple weeks selling dollar store junk at a loss so you can build up a transaction history. Then slowly start mixing in your normal items.
What I think is this. There's a chance that starting as a business account is causing these limitations. But it's far more likely that the things you are listing on a brand new account are causing these limitations - as the Paypal rep explained to you lol. |
| random_011 | 07-25-2017 10:23 AM | Re: Paypal accounts getting limited over and over Paypal never asks me for employee identifcation number if that what you mean by EIN.
Also , thank you for sharing that the names thing on the card is ok , that saves me some time for sure.
I am also going to do something else, tell me what you think of it . I have a website with a good audience , what if I were to link a future paypal to that site so that the payments go to it instead of my PARENT paypal ( i refer to the paypal that is linked to my bank, the parent hehe ) , so that during the time this new paypal is aging , it gets a good transaction history ? " as the Paypal rep explained to you lol. " I know but you never know whether to believe them or not , on one of my ebay accounts, I sell software keys , once I called ebay for an increase in limits , the *** was like , sure no problem we willl increase your limits , she gave me a lot more than I expected , just 30 mins later my accounts gets restricted lol |
Re: Paypal accounts getting limited over and over Wait, what are you using for the CC? |
| random_011 | 07-25-2017 10:29 AM | Re: Paypal accounts getting limited over and over Currently , entropay |

| phaz0rz | 07-25-2017 10:47 AM | Re: Paypal accounts getting limited over and over What do you mean by "linking to your parent account"? Are you somehow associating all of your Paypals?
Raised a flag for me when you mentioned your card "provider" but I didn't think to say anything. Entropay could very well be the issue - though I think it's more likely Paypal would just reject the card. I agree with MM RE cards. Vanilla Visa's from Walmart have always worked fine for me. |
| slokor | 07-25-2017 10:58 AM | Re: Paypal accounts getting limited over and over Entropay could quite possibly be the issue.
Another issue is the fact youre not even bothering to mature them but using them the very same day you create them. |
| random_011 | 07-25-2017 11:00 AM | Re: Paypal accounts getting limited over and over Alright , will do that too, thank you ! |

Vanilla Visa's from Walmart have always worked fine for me. | I was talking about my own site , where I also get payments. Whenever someone pays for an item on my site, it goes to my main paypal which is no way linked to others I use.
I was basically saying that i will make it so that payments from my website go to my new paypal accounts as they are maturing to make them even stronger . |

| phaz0rz | 07-25-2017 11:24 AM | Re: Paypal accounts getting limited over and over Yeah that would cause an almost immediate link. Only way for that to be feasible is a unique domain name for each stealth Paypal. Too much work for too little results. |

even if you are using different users in your PC but you are still using the same mac address (network card), i think and i am sure that you need to download mac-address changer.i was advised by IT. |
