How Long will Paypal continue to limit $100 max payment

Anyone know a general rule of thumb when paypal will drop the limit of holding funds over $100? Account has about 30 positive feedbacks, not selling any vero stuff (yet), that's why I want to get the $100 limit removed first.
Thanks in advance! Also add the account is a pre 11/07 account with same paypal account from the start, sold only a few items in the last 6 or 8 years..

I don't sell items over $100 so I'm not sure. But since your using a pre 11/07 account, I would completely do away with using paypal.

No such thing as general rule of thumb and paypal in the same sentence.
Another thing to consider is that when you start to sell 'different' items
then paypal may still limit the account. That's the risk of using it.
Consider using a merchant account if the account is so aged.:peace:

I just know alot of buyers love Paypal and think it's the Greatest Thing since sliced bread and if you don't offer it your some kind of scammer. Would you consider cartmanager with paypal and authorize.net as a solution or just say heck with the buyers that insisted on paypal?

Cartmanager is the way to go.No-one can 'turn away' a (brainwashed) buyer.LOL. So set the account up with this by-pass system. Means some extra work but most users here are more than happy with the results:cheer:
