Fraud Purchase Attempt, Paypal Limited

So apparently someone made a fraudulent purchase on a buyers account for one of my items. Luckily, I hadn't shipped the item yet. The buyer told me what happened and asked for a refund. Not a problem, I granted the refund right away. So I'm thinking this is over.

2 days later, the buyer opens a Paypal dispute, now I'm pissed. I just refunded you 2 days ago for the item to avoid all this, now you open a dispute? They claim the person used a credit card and the funds are not back on their card. I told them this is not instant and it will probably take 3-5 business days for that to go back on their card and they need to contact their CC company open a dispute/charge-back. But no, they want to keep sending me message after message about not having their money.

Anyway, the next day my account is limited and I think this is why.

So now I have to refund a bunch of buyers. I have $900 sitting pending b/c of Paypal retarded 21 day hold process. Luckily it happened over the weekend and product hasn't gone to post office yet. I think I probably lost about $500 of this...

This ever happen to anyone else?

That's nuts. I don't see why you were shut down unless the defrauded buyer called into eBay and eBay checked closer into your account.

Call in man. You have nothing to lose. I would call in and explain that you did everything you possibly could to help the customer.
