I'm about to give up...BANK ACCOUNT HELP
 

Ok, so I did everything. Changed the IP address, created a new paypal name, address email and everything. I registered it with a Simon.com gift card, then I created an ING bank account. Everything worked fine, I got the ING set up and today I got a call from ING saying that I could not have paypal funds put into the new account that is not in my name, that if ever transferred money over they would close the account. I just logged on to paypal after work and it says, your account is limited, and there is no options for anything I can do. I am so extremely frustrated and mad I am about to scream. What the hell did I do wrong? Could paypal see the name the bank account was under my ING account? Does anyone know a bank account that they will NOT be able to see? This is so incredibly agrivating now I have to start back at step one AGAIN!

ING is not recommended. Since you are in the U.S there are a few banks. What bank did you use before ING? Can you open another account there?

I used a local bank account. I'm sure I could open another one but I already have an account with them for the account that is suspended. Can I open another bank account in my same name? Can Paypal see the name that is on the bank account? I cracked and paid $37.00 for the Ebay Stealth, so now I need help.

Yes you can open another bank account with your real name and use it with paypal. No paypal can't see the name on the account. :typing:

Do you know any banks that will let you open an account in your real name and then set it up through paypal? ING called me and warned me and told me that the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name on the account didnt match my real name and that it would not work. I guess they must have contacted paypal because they limited my account immediately.

Bank of America works for me and quite a few others here. I haven't tested any other banks, but I know there's a few.

I just signed up for Emigrant Direct, that was one of the banks listed in the stealth guide, I guess I am going to try that. See the problem is when they notice the initial funds of .09 and .12 are coming into the account they warn me about it and I guess ING contacted paypal? Really annoying.

I don't know if ING would contact paypal but I do know a few people have reported problems with ING, so it is no longer recommended.

Most other banks will work. Try WAMU.

Sometimes Paypal does call your bank if they think the names don't match up between your Paypal account and bank account. They usually do this when you load funds from your bank account to your Paypal account when the names don't match.

never upload money from your bank to paypal in stealth mode and make sure if you are paying fees using automatic method from paypal method (although not forum recommended) that there is enough to take from balance or they will take from bank instead and possibly get your name thru the credit reference..

Any regular U.S. checking or savings account will work from any major bank. But you have to open the account in your real name. Just open an account online instead of going in the bank. Sometimes banks are nosey. If you cant get one online just go back to your local bank and tell them to give you a new account number cause you lost your bank book. All you need is a different account number to plug into paypal.

Why are you putting money in your paypal from your bank account? Are you using the ebay account to buy things from ebay as well? I would just wait until I had enough money from sales if you want money in your paypal. Or I just use the money that is still left on my gift card (which is probably the same gift card you registered with paypal).
