What's the best way to phone in PayPal, re: limited access?
 

Ok yet another one of my GayPal accounts has been limited due to "high risk" bs. 3rd one in 1 month time. The first time I was stupid enough to call in from my home phone number which was different from the # registered. I blocked my number with *67 but they obviously saw it cuz they linked me to my original PayPal account which was linked to a banned eGay user. Luckily I still gave them what they want and the lifted the limitaion on that account. Lesson learned. Do not call PayPal from any phone # you don't want them to see, even if it's blocked. They probably use ANI (automatic number identification) to do a reverse look-up and reveal your #, or something like TrapCall.

Another time I just sent them in the documents they requested and hoped they would get back to me by email but they took forrreeeevvvver. Hoping for an email from them is redonKulas. Must call them to get immediate action..

3rd time I called in PayPal for another limited account through Skype which shows number as 0123456 or something else. They gave me no problems and lifted the restriction on that PayPal acct after they reviewed the requested submitted info. Is Skype a good idea to call PayPal? I know eGay owns it but still there is no way they can extract your Skype username or ip accessed from when you use it to call landlines, right? I am hoping so. I need to call PayPal again to get my recent account lifted and don't want to wait forever for an email. Advise plz!

I call in using MCI prepaid 800-934-0095 and then enter my pin #. I think Verizon prepaid handles there stuff 800 830-9444 is the # to call to buy card during business hours. Its a little expensive (2 cents a minute or so) but I know for a fact paypal cant see where you are calling from. I have used it many times.

Did you phone paypal on the toll-free number & use 67* to block your number? Or did you use the land-line number 402-xxxx-xxxx etc? Using toll-free & *67 does not work.:pout:

I can't remember for sure but I think I called the toll free number. Ya I know, my bad! Do you advise against using Skype to call them? I can login to Skype using the IP address I use to login to PayPal.

^^^ but if the IP is 'clean', then skype is reasonable to use. Of course if skype was associated with suspended accounts then no way. Even have to be careful of half.com etc:peace:

Metroline, yes they can. Unless you are calling 'through' from a service such as mentioned by StealthyMan in post #2.

"GayPal" How old are you. Maybe 12.

Do you actually think rushing them would help your chances...?
