Paypal was limited right after creation

Just created a new paypal account.

All data was never used. Fresh IP, VM, the whole circus.

The account was limited immediately and asked for ID and Bank account statement.

In the email it said there was a problem with the bank account, even though I haven't even added it yet. The limitation email came even before the welcome email.

All I can think of is that the IP was somehow contaminated... Or is this a security thing that they ask for these docs now right from the beginning? It was EU (de) paypal.

Any help is appreciated.

D.C.

There is no new security thing as far as I know,

From the looks of it, there seems to be something you missed that PayPal picked up on.

Everything should be completely new, the more the better

I haven't even added a bank account and it was limited due to problems with the bank account. Do you think if I send ID and Bank account statement it will help anything or is it just gone?

What do you want to do? I always try if I have the means to deal with their requests.

How long have you had access to that IP?

It is more than likely the IP address.
Sounds like the bank account issue is just a generic reason for the limitation.
This is a brand new account. You havnt put any effort into it or wasted any resources on it. Cut your losses and move on to the next account.

I got my IP from one of the members in the forum here... already bought a few from the guy without issues in the past. Maybe this one was contaminated.

Since I have all the stuff that paypal requested, I'll just upload it and go from there.

Thank you for your help guys. IP was my first intention too.

I wouldnt just be buying from people who are not approved as sellers.
You got zero recourse in case something goes wrong. Its all on you.

Which member did you buy it from? Send me a PM with that info.

It's a personal friend of mine who happens to be in this forum too. He has a VPS and created his own VPNs. So he gives it to me for a good price and independently from the forum.

I guess he made a mistake and accidentally gave me an IP he already burnt.

I wouldnt trust anyone to just 'create' his own VPNs. Those IP addresses need to be purchased somehow somewhere.
Bottom line - You get what you pay for.

Just started over with a new fresh IP and everything went smooth so far.

I'm also having the same problem as the OP. I ran on a VPN so same thing probably. What if I run on my normal IP? eBay can't see what IP I'm going on PayPal with can they?

If you are in the US and registered to ebay and paypal in the US it should be enough to restart your router to get a new IP. It should be fine if you access both with different US IPs.

Don't forget to make new windows User or even better use VMware.

It's best if you start from the beginning and actually read the stealth guide,
there's a lot of things that could get you linked otherwise.
