This is just theoretical and you might need some coding. I don't use woocommerce myself but in the end all shopping carts work the same way.
There should be a checkout module for wire transfer which is built pretty easy. You can change the module so that instead of your bank account the paypal email is shown in the confirmation email and ask the customer to manually transfer the money to your paypal account. I know it isn't as elegant as using the module but way safer. Then rename the Module something like "Paypal Checkout" or whatever.
Another possibility would be using a new domain. For the old domain you could make a 301 rewrite rule then your efforts in marketing and linkbuilding might not be lost. But I am not so sure about that.
Or just re-code the paypal module so that only the payment process is running on a different domain. But for that you'll need an expert I guess.
If you simply add a new paypal it will be limited as the payments come from the same web address. This can take a while, sometimes even a few years. Sometimes after just a few days or weeks. |
