Withdrawal after 180 day from US PP to Europe
 

Hi,

My PP got limited 180 days ago, but I got an email saying I can get my funds now. Name, Address, Cards are all ⊗⊗⊗⊗, so I don't know how. I live in Europe and the PP is from US just to make things more complex.

Any idea what to do?

Withdrawing to a US Bank account or having Paypal mail a check are pretty much your only options.

The only possible ways to make it work would be for you to travel to the US and open a bank account yourself as a foreigner with an ITIN from the IRS. Anyone offering to sell you a US bank account is involved with fraud. It's not legal to sell US bank accounts since they are by-law linked to a citizen's (or alien/non-citizen's) identity. If you did manage to get a US bank account you would then have to jump through several hoops trying to add the bank account to your limited PP. Most of the time you can only add a bank account by calling in once your account is limited - it won't work if you try adding the bank account from your PP wallet.

It's not advisable for people outside the US to sell on US accounts. If you do it anyway, a bank account should ALWAYS be attached before you start receiving payments. Because if your US PP account gets limited without a US bank account already attached it's nearly impossible for you to recover your funds after the 180-day limitation.
