PayPal phone verificatioon US

PayPal asks me for quick phone verification when I try to make a transaction. I tried to add a US phone number but that phone number does not get accepted for some weird reason.

Can anybody help me here? This is a US PayPal btw

This can be solved by calling in paypal.

It's normal. Call paypal and let them fix this for you.

What if you can't call Paypal. Where do I get a phone number registered to the owner of the account? I've heard someone has a 5-day method to get real phone numbers. Anyone knows anything about it? Thanks!
