Here's some reasons why:
- Only Paypal can be used to checkout on mobile devices. If customers try buying from a merchant account store while on the app or a mobile browser, they get an error message.
- The vast majority of customers refuse to use anything other than Paypal because they've all been brainwashed into believing PP is the only safe online payment processor
- Listings without Paypal go way down in search results because the sell through rate goes way down
On top of that you'll start getting chargebacks from customers of yours who are legitimately confused about the charge they're seeing on their statement. eBay customers are accustomed to eBay purchases showing up as "Paypal xxxxxxxxx" on their statement. When you start using a merchant account charges on your customer's statement show up as your LLC name without any mention of eBay or Paypal. I've had to deal with at least 5 chargebacks for this reason.
OK. I will get another paypal to link.
Since the authorize.net need SSN and company check and a little complicated to use...
